Event Primer On September 6, 2008, all of North America will walk for GK.

Join us, as we walk as ONE with our GK brethren in Canada, to raise awareness for the poorest of the poor.

The 5K GK Walk will take place simultaneously in 7 cities in Canada (Calgary, Ottawa, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton), and in many cities across the USA. Don’t miss out!!!

Our Goals
  1. GAIN GREATER AWARENESS FOR THE GK CAUSE. Make a strong statement that we care for the poorest of the poor and through GK we are doing something concrete to help them.
  2. UNITE EVERYONE IN THE SPIRIT OF GK & Bayanihan ON A CONTINENTAL BASIS. First time USA and Canada GK brethren are coming together in one event.
  3. ENCOURAGE WHOLE FAMILY INVOLVEMENT in GK. Provide an avenue for the whole family to be involved in GK.
  4. HIGHLIGHT THE GK CYD PROGRAM: Promote the Child & Youth Development Program of GK.
  5. PROMOTE THE GK LIFESTYLE AND SHOWCASE NEW LINE OF GK MERCHANDISE: Show the different GK merchandise available to help promote the GK economy.
  6. SUPPORT THE GK VILLAGE BUILDER: Give our present GK Village Builders an avenue to bring greater awareness about their village and raise funds / resources for their village.
  7. GK1MB OUTPUT: Utilize and mobilize GK1MB volunteers in all areas.
