As a Hero’s Run participant, you will be able to be a part of GK and give care by running and sponsoring a home for a poor family. In the process, you partake in rebuilding a community and an entire nation. Sponsored by ANCOP Foundation USA, the GK777 Hero’s Run Training Program aims to support "Kalinga Luzon". This is the urgent response of GK and its partners to the recent disaster that ravaged northern Philippines. The typhoon left 40,000 families devastated and homeless. Kalinga Luzon goes beyond the relief stage and works out an effective program to rehabilitate and rebuild the affected communities.

The Challenge: National Marathon Training Program

GK777 Hero’s Run is a six-month marathon training program. This is an endurance building training program that includes a run/walk ratio. The program’s goal is to guide and encourage all participants, despite no running experience, in finishing a 26.2 mile marathon. Perhaps the greatest challenge that each participant will encounter is realizing that their hardship in running does not come close to the difficulties of those living in poverty.
