Letter from the President

Welcome to the Web Site of ANCOP Foundation U.S.A.

As you may have noticed on top of this page, ANCOP is an acronym which stands for “Answering the Cry of the Poor.”

Following the steps of Jesus Christ in looking after and loving the poor, ANCOP U.S.A., one of the ministries of the global movement Couples for Christ, has allied itself with the Catholic Church in its mission of uplifting the material and spiritual welfare of the poor.

In short, Jesus is the face and heart of ANCOP.

You will note on the left side of this stationery that ANCOP U.S.A. is all over the United States. In the Philippines, we are called ANCOP-Tekton. In Canada, we are known as ANCOP Canada. There are ANCOP chapters all over the world.

The purpose of this Web Site is to raise public awareness about ANCOP U.S.A., its projects and activities.

You will read in other pages of this site about our two big projects, namely: Child Sponsorship Program (CSP) and Community Development Program (CDP).

CSP sends poor Filipino students to elementary, high school or college, without the poor parents spending a single centavo.

CDP provides housing for free to poor Filipinos.

Both programs include values formation seminars for the beneficiaries along the lines of Christian teachings. We can only continue doing these activities with donations from friends and supporters like you.

ANCOP is a unique and exciting organization of men and women who are committed to build the church of the poor. God bless you and your loved ones.
